Finished Goods Distribution Center at Schimatari, Viotia

The project concerns the construction of an automatically operated warehouse of 34,000 m2 total covered area with provision for future expansion, of 11m height, with storage capacity of approx. 50,000 pallets. The warehouse facilities are connected with the railway network for pallets and containers being unloaded from 2,000 wagons per year (handling capacity 4,500 pallets per day and 5,000 containers per year). Loading / unloading and handling of goods are being achieved through a fully automated remote control system of forklifts and conveyors. The project includes also surrounding area works (roads, paving, underground networks) in a plot of 97,500 m2 total surface
