EVOLUTION MILESTONES

Founded in 1992 by a passionate team of engineers, our company began with a vision to work in dynamic and evolving sectors. From the very beginning, we’ve been driven by a commitment to place our clients and their needs at the heart of everything we do. As a financially sound company, we’ve consistently reinvested our growth dividends to enhance the value we deliver, strengthening our services and expanding our project portfolio. This long-term approach continues to shape how we support our clients and contribute to their success.

C&M Engineering’s story evolved in step with the changing landscape of the energy infrastructure, playing a part in its transformation over the years.

2020s

In the 1990s, the National Natural Gas Transmission System (NNGTS) in Greece and the LNG infrastructure are beginning to take shape. C&M Engineering began its journey with industrial sector projects and conducted the studies for the first Operation & Maintenance Buildings and Border Stations of the National Natural Gas Transmission System.

In the 2000s, the National Gas Transmission and Distribution System was expanded, and independent electricity producers and providers began to emerge, marking a shift toward a more liberalized and diversified energy market. C&M Engineering broadens its project portfolio to include Project Management for energy infrastructure, LNG terminals, and large-scale industrial, buildings and tourism developments. As part of a consortium, C&M Engineering provided project management services for DEPA’s and DESFA’s energy projects over a period of nine years.

In the 2010s, transformative energy projects were undertaken, including PPC’s Power Plants, the 3rd Tank of the Revithoussa LNG Terminal and key interconnectors like the Trans Adriatic Pipeline and the Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria, alongside the design of the Poseidon Pipeline and the EastMed Pipeline Project.

The energy transition, while delayed by economic contraction and the pandemic, continues to advance steadily. Security, sustainability, affordability remain central objectives. Our portfolio includes projects such as 100% hydrogen transmission systems, CO₂ pipeline transport, electrical interconnection cables, hydro pumped storage, solar PV plants, battery energy storage systems. It is an enduring challenge ahead; one we are determined to meet with expertise and commitment.
