Brief Project Description
The EastMed Pipeline Project (PCI) is an offshore/onshore energy infrastructure that will connect Εast Mediterranean energy resources (offshore gas reserves in Israel and Cyprus) to nearby European energy system via Cyprus, Crete and mainland Greece. In conjunction with the Poseidon Pipeline Project involving Greece and Italy, the EastMed Pipeline Project will enhance the security of energy supply for Mediterranean and south-eastern European countries.
The EastMed Pipeline Project (and the Poseidon Pipeline Project) are listed among the “Projects of Common Interest (PCI)” for their contribution to European Union energy targets. IGI Poseidon shareholders: Edison S.p.A (50%), DEPA International Projects S.A. (50%).

- Two Compressor/Metering Stations in Crete (217 MW).
- One Compressor Station in the Peloponnese (70 MW).
- One Exit Metering Station In Florovouni (Thesprotia, West Greece).
