Detailed Design of HERON Combined Cycle Power Plant at Thiva, Boeotia, Greece.
Brief Project Description
The Project concerned the construction of a 435 MWe Combined Cycle Power Plant supplied with natural gas.
It consists of: one Gas Turbine, a Generator, a Steam Turbine on a single shaft arrangement, a heat recovery Steam Generator, Air Cooled Condensers, main feed Water Pump Station, main and auxiliary Electrical Buildings including MV and LV switchboards and UPS with batteries, Step-up and step-down Power Transformers, Emergency Diesel Generator, Control Room, Administration Building, warehouses and workshop, Main and auxiliary Pipe Rack, Gas (N₂, H₂) Storage Facilities, Natural Gas Metering Station, Facilities for Natural Gas Compression and Heating, Natural Gas Network, Storage facilities, Oily Sewer System, Waste-water Treatment Plant, Gas Turbine supply networks.
