TAP AG Compressor Stations Expansion
TAP Expansion - Early Works (Cold Cuts & Hot Tap Tie-ins), Basic & Detailed Engineering Design & Permit Engineering Services for the Kipoi Compressor Station GCS00 in Greece.
Brief Project Description
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) transports gas from the Shah Deniz II field in Azerbaijan via Greece and Albania and across the Adriatic Sea to southern Italy and further into Western Europe. TAP AG is responsible for the development and operation of the gas transportation infrastructure from the Greece/Turkey border to Southern Italy.
The TAP pipeline has a transport capacity of 10 BCMY. The Project Owner has worked for expanding this capacity by various increments up to a maximum of 20 BCMY.
This project involves enhancing the Compressor Station GCS00 with a “full expansion case” and the installation of three (3) additional compressor units (15 MW/each), which equally require the station equipments’ upgrade.
