Brief Project Description

The Solar PV Plant is part of nine (9) solar photovoltaic parks each under a single SPV (Solar Photovoltaic Technology), located in Northern Greece.

The Solar PV Plant is located above the mining facilities of the Greek Public Power Corporation (PPC) on excavated / backfilled ground. The solar photovoltaic installation will use either a fixed tilting suspension system or double-sided monocrystalline photovoltaic modules with a nominal power class of 585-590 Wp (+/- 5Wp).

The Project also includes the design and construction of underground MV (Medium Voltage) interconnection networks, design and construction of a new 150/33 kV HV interconnection substation and design and construction of all required interconnection works at two existing high voltage substations, one at 150/33 kV voltage levels and another at 400/33 Kv voltage levels.
